SR [A Prank Prior to the Investigation] Figaro SR card story + card episode. Translated by me.

A Boundless Spirit for Mischief
Figaro: (A tattered cloth, red juice, mask…)
Figaro: (Hmm, I’ve tried to prepare something for a Halloween prank, but I don’t want Mitile to cry if it’s too much…)
Figaro: (Gotta keep it just enough for it to be fun. I’ll only wear this mask this time and…)
Mithra: Arsi-
Figaro: Yes yes, Mithra. Stop.
Mithra: This voice… Are you Figaro.
Figaro: That’s right. How cruel of you to attack me so suddenly. At a fun party like this, no less!
Mithra: Because you are wearing a misleading costume. I thought there was a monster other than the werewolf.
Figaro: Dedication to your duty isn’t a bad thing, but it’s not funny to kill each other either. Actually, you can tell from the presence that it’s me, right?
Mithra: Monsters and you are pretty much the same thing. So, what is that mask?
Figaro: It’s this kind of party. I wanted to surprise Mitile with this costume.
Mithra: Please stop. Mitile is weak. What are you going to do if his heart stopped after you did it?
Figaro: It’s just a cute prank. Surely Mitile wouldn’t be that surprised. Look, even this mask has a charming face.
Mithra: Really, now.
Figaro: Really, really. Besides, I’m not doing this just to scare him.
Figaro: This is a good opportunity to test how much his heart has grown.
Mithra: Growth?
Figaro: Mitile was easily frightened when he was young. So much so that he cried after seeing my scary monster costume.
Figaro: But now, things are different from back then. He’s gained a lot of experience and may be bold enough to stand up against this.
Figaro: Don’t you want to see that kind of cool Mitile too?
Mithra: I don’t particularly care.
Figaro: I see. Since you don’t care, that means you don’t mind cooperating with me either.
Figaro: Well then, I’ll give you a special loan of this mask.
Mithra: Huh?
Figaro: Yep, as expected of a northern wizard. The pressure behind the mask is amazing, and it’s giving off an extremely spooky atmosphere. It suits you perfectly.
Mithra: Please do your charade alone. It’s painful and is the worst.
Figaro: Hang on for just a bit longer. Look, it seems like Mitile’s coming here.
Mithra: ……..
Mitile: Dr. Figaro! There’s a lot of chestnut sweets over there!
Mitile: Huh…? I thought I heard his voice coming from here. Dr. Figa…
Mithra: …….
Mitile: Waaah!!
Mitile: A, a ghost appeared! Nii-sama!!
Figaro: Ah, Mitile wait! This is Mith…
Figaro: He’s gone.
Mithra: Well, obviously. Even to me, it looks nothing but an atrocious mask with protruding eyeballs.
Mithra: It’s not something Mitile can stand. Although there was someone who said it was “charming” or some other nonsense.
Figaro: Hmm, getting this right is hard…
A Nostalgic Look of Surprise
Akira: Figaro, Mitile was talking to Riquet about something scary he saw at the party the other night. Do you know what it was?
Figaro: Hmm, nothing comes to mind.
Figaro: But judging by the atmosphere of that castle, we may have stumbled across a monster that was lurking quietly behind an old, secret door.
Akira: Eh?! I totally didn’t realize there was something else beside the werewolf!
Figaro: That was a joke, master sage. Because the one who spooked Mitile were me and Mithra.
Figaro: I thought we'd dress up as a monster and play a little prank, but… I guess I overdid it.
Figaro: Maybe I’ll confess later.
Akira: Please do that. But that aside, it’s unusual for Mithra to be in it as well.
Figaro: Haha, I think so too. Well, it worked out, though.
Akira: Did you get closer with him at the party?
Figaro: Well, who knows.
